Domestic Students
Additionally, FIU offers a voluntary plan for domestic students. Domestic students are not required to show proof of insurance to register for classes at FIU.
International Students
Currently, only international students with F1 or J1 visa permits are required to submit health insurance information to the Health Compliance Office. Please review the International Student page for questions pertaining to FIU’s current requirements for International Student Health Insurance.
